DeeClave (Gold Boy) — Biography

DeeClave (Gold Boy), formerly known as Smart Dee, is a Nigerian Afrobeats artist, singer, and songwriter born Dhntuyi Ayuba. He hails from Bauchi State, specifically Tafawa Balewa, Marti Bakin Kogi Ward. He is currently based in Abuja, where he continues to develop his sound and artistic vision.
DeeClave represents a new generation of Nigerian artists bringing authentic street narratives and modern African rhythms to the global stage. His music blends Afrobeats, Afro-fusion, and street-influenced sounds, creating a style that connects deeply with everyday life while maintaining strong commercial appeal.
