Bup Pius (real name Buyungo Pius) is a Ugandan Catholic gospel artist, born on July 24, 1994, in Nsangwa Village, part of Mitala Maria Parish along Masaka Road.
Growing up in a strong Catholic community, Bup Pius developed a deep love for music and faith from an early age. This foundation later inspired him to pursue a career in gospel music.
He officially began his musical journey in 2019, releasing his debut single titled “Kristu Oli Ngabo” (translated as Christ, You Are the Shield). The song marked his entry into the gospel music scene, reflecting his devotion and passion for sharing the message of Christ through music.
Since then, Bup Pius has continued to grow as an artist, dedicating his talents to inspiring others and strengthening the faith of his listeners through his heartfelt gospel songs.
